Collin’s practice focuses primarily on issues involving protective proceedings and in general litigation. He has experience in helping clients and/or their families put in place protective measures such as conservatorships and guardianships so that difficult decisions about the well-being of a vulnerable person, such as a minor, a disabled person, or a person no longer able to care for themselves are able to be addressed by those around them who care for them. He has also worked with clients in planning for the uncertainty of the future by addressing potential areas of concern in advance by implementing powers of attorney, drafting wills and using other estate planning tools.

As a general litigator, Collin has experience addressing conflicts for his clients in many different areas of law including employment law, probate, contract law, property law, landlord tenant and tort law. Collin prides himself on being accessible and responsive while working with his clients. He views litigation as a collaborative process where getting a positive result for a client is as much about working with the client as it is understanding the law.

Collin was born and raised right here in Central Oregon. He graduated as a valedictorian in his Crook County High School class of 2002. He graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Oswego in New York state with a BA in public relations. He graduated cum laude from Willamette University College of Law in 2017. Collin enjoys fly fishing all over Oregon, camping with his family, hiking, hunting and raising his two wonderful daughters with his wife of over 10 years.

Collin loves being involved with organizations that give back and help the underserved in Central Oregon. He is on the board of directors for the Opportunity Foundation of Central Oregon and for many years worked with the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Prineville.
