Heather J. Turk
Heather concentrates her practice on estate planning. For each client, she provides a comprehensive estate plan, custom-tailored to reflect the client’s unique situation and objectives. Whether you would like to establish a plan to ensure your loved ones are cared for and assets are preserved in the event of your death or disability or are interested in exploring more sophisticated planning strategies for your family or business, Heather has the skills and experience to accomplish your goals in a thoughtful and efficient manner.
Prior to returning to her home state of Oregon and joining the Merrill O’Sullivan team, Heather gained substantial experience in all aspects of estate and gift tax planning while working with a large law firm in Los Angeles, California. Drawing on this experience, Heather is able to provide clients with both conventional and cutting-edge strategies for the preservation of wealth. Heather also has experience in the areas of trust and estate administration and in assisting clients with respect to their charitable objectives, including the creation and administration of private foundations and other tax-exempt organizations.
Heather earned her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Oregon in 2005 and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2008. She is admitted to practice in both Oregon and California and before the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
