Pete joined Merrill O’Sullivan, LLP as an associate in February 2012 and became a partner in January 2016. Pete is passionate about helping his clients resolve issues and achieve their goals in an efficient and cost-effective manner. He is service-minded, responsive, detail-oriented, and thorough in his approach to problem-solving, negotiations, and planning.
Pete is a member of the Oregon State Bar’s Business Law, Real Estate and Land Use, and Taxation Sections. He served as a member of the Oregon State Bar’s Legal Ethics Committee from January 2010 through December 2012. Locally, he is a member and past president of the Deschutes County Bar Association.
Pete has served as a member of the City of Bend’s Planning Commission, as a member of the board of directors of Shepherd’s House Ministries and as a volunteer with various other local organizations including the Bend Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development for Central Oregon. He is also an active member of Foundry Church.
Pete and his wife, Dara, have three children and enjoy spending time together as a family and with friends in the beautiful Central Oregon outdoors.
